Holiday Lighting in Newport Coast
Custom holiday lighting for Newport Coast estates: long rooflines, palms, and landscape accents. Gate and HOA coordination, upkeep, and takedown included.
Newport Coast is home to some of the most distinguished properties in Orange County. Large estates, long rooflines, mature landscaping, and views toward the Pacific make a holiday display here a project worth doing properly.
Coastal Holiday Lights designs and installs custom displays for Newport Coast homeowners who expect a premium result and a seamless experience from the first consultation to the January takedown.
What We Do in Newport Coast
Each home receives a custom design, installation by insured crews, in-season maintenance, and a January takedown with storage included. You never touch a ladder.
Our custom-cut, commercial-grade line is mapped to your exact home, so it fits every ridge, eave, and gable without slack or guesswork. We never use store-bought strands. Every install includes a free gutter cleaning by Pacific Home Exteriors, our proud sponsor.
Estates, Long Rooflines, and Landscape
The scale of a Newport Coast property changes the design conversation. A long roofline is not simply a bigger version of a small one, and the way the eye travels across a large facade deserves thought.
- Long rooflines. On wide, multi-level homes, clean, continuous lines matter most. We plan runs so the display reads as one composed picture from the street and from the motor court.
- Palms and specimen trees. Tall palms can be wrapped to carry light upward and frame the home, while mature trees can be accented to add depth.
- Landscape lighting. Hedges, planters, and garden beds can be accented to bring warmth to the ground level and connect the home to its setting.
- Driveways and entries. Long approaches, columns, and gates are natural places to add a welcoming glow for guests arriving at night.
Warm white remains a favorite for estates, often paired with wreaths and garland at the entry. If you prefer a different look, we will design to it. We walk the property at dusk during your consultation, because that is when the display does its work.
Gate Houses and HOA Coordination
Most Newport Coast communities have staffed or keypad gates, and many have homeowners associations with architectural guidelines. We plan for this from the start.
We can provide a design drawing and a materials list for your board or management company, and we coordinate crew access with the gate house in advance so arrival days run smoothly. Your association may set its own timing windows, color guidelines, or rules about how lights are attached, so please confirm what applies to your community. Our HOA guide for Newport Coast explains what boards commonly ask and how to speed approval.
Timing and Booking
Estate displays take more crew time than an average home, and we install a limited number of homes each week, booked in order. If your community requires approval, an early request gives you room to move through it without pressure.
Begin with a free design consultation. We discuss the look you want and give you an exact written number. Pricing depends on roofline length, complexity, trees, and add-ons.
Please book your free design consultation, or call or text (949) 919-7396. See how it works and what is included. Nearby, we also serve Crystal Cove, Newport Beach, and Corona del Mar.
Good questions
Can you light very large homes and long rooflines?
Yes. Large estates are well suited to a custom, measured design, and our insured crews are equipped for multi-level and long rooflines. You never touch a ladder. At your free design consultation we assess the property and share an exact written number.
Do you light palms and landscaping as well as the house?
Yes. Palms, specimen trees, hedges, and planters can be included to extend the display beyond the roofline. Trees are one of the factors that affect pricing, and we will cover your options during the consultation.
How do you handle gate houses and the HOA?
We coordinate crew arrival with your gate in advance and can provide a design drawing and materials list for your association. Please check your community's current guidelines, and we will plan the installation around them.
